
Riccardo Serbolonghi is the Energy Transition Accelerator (ETA) Coordinator. He supports the ETA Secretariat team by collaborating with private sector actors and government stakeholders to leverage high-integrity carbon credits, accelerating the clean energy transition in emerging and developing countries.
Before joining the ETA Secretariat team, Mr. Serbolonghi was an intern for C2ES’s International Team, providing support with the analysis of global energy issues, just transition strategies, carbon markets, international climate negotiations, and accountability initiatives from the perspective of sub-national governments, corporate actors, civil societies, and NGOs. Prior to C2ES, Mr. Serbolonghi worked at Humanitarian Affairs Asia (HAA), a mission-driven NGO based in Thailand that fosters youth leadership in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Mr. Serbolonghi holds a master’s in Climate and Society from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia.
