Morgan Brummund

Advocacy Manager, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions

Morgan Brummund is an Advocacy Manager at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Ms. Brummund supports the organization’s advocacy work by fostering collaboration among key stakeholders across the federal government, the non-governmental organization community, and the private sector for the purpose of advancing innovative and enduring climate-smart policies.

Prior to joining C2ES, Morgan was the government affairs director at American Conservation Coalition (ACC) and its advocacy arm ACC Action — one of the largest grassroots environmental organizations in the nation. While at ACC, Morgan led the organization’s efforts to pass solutions-first, market-based, and pro-innovation policies on Capitol Hill. Prior to ACC, Morgan worked in the energy policy space, at both the U.S. Department of Energy and the Idaho Governor’s Office of Energy and Mineral Resources. Morgan also serves on the board of DC’s Young Professionals in Energy (YPE) chapter.

Ms. Brummund graduated from Boise State University, with an environmental studies degree and minors in climate and sustainability.
