Elina Vanuska

Industrial Decarbonization Fellow, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions

Elina Vanuska is the Industrial Decarbonization Fellow at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). She researches and analyzes the technologies and policies that are essential to transitioning industry to a net-zero economy and supports the Renewable Thermal Collaborative’s policy engagement.

Prior to joining C2ES, Ms. Vanuska was a Congressional Fellow with the New Democrat Coalition, where she conducted policy analysis and managed the Coalition’s Climate Change and Clean Energy task force, National Security task force, and Artificial Intelligence working group. Prior to the congressional fellowship, Ms. Vanuska was in graduate school where she researched cobalt supply chains and had an internship with the Potomac Institute for Policy Studies analyzing issues related to deep sea mining.

Ms. Vanuska holds an M.S. in biomedical science policy and advocacy from Georgetown University and a B.S. in molecular, cell, and developmental biology with a minor in global health from UCLA.
