Christa Ogata

Senior Manager for the Energy Transition Accelerator, Center for Climate and Energy Solutions

Christa Ogata is the Senior Manager of the Energy Transition Accelerator (ETA) at the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES). Ms. Ogata is responsible for overall project management, including developing and implementing strategic workplans and timelines; tracking deliverables and progress against milestones through regular reporting; developing briefing materials, presentation, and memos; and organizing events, as needed. Ms. Ogata supports the ETA Secretariat on engagement with pilot and observer countries in coordination with ETA Funding Partners and the World Bank to facilitate their participation in the initiative.

Ms. Ogata was previously the Senior Program Manager for Global Transportation and Global Climate at Environmental Defense Fund, providing overall program management, operational support, budget planning and resource allocation, grant management, and coordination across teams. In that role, Ms. Ogata was a contributor to a joint EDF, WWF-US, and Oeko-Institut publication that assessed carbon credit quality.

Ms. Ogata holds a master’s degree in international affairs from University of California, San Diego, and a bachelor’s degree in international relations and Japanese from University of California, Davis.
