On racial, social, and climate justice:

The distressing events of recent days—as well as the disproportionate impact of the pandemic—are laying bare our nation’s sorrowful legacy of racial injustice. We can see it, too, in the way the impacts of climate change fall disproportionately on people of color. There is no lasting climate solution without climate justice, and no climate justice without social justice. It is incumbent on all communities— including the climate community—to examine our part in perpetuating systemic injustice and to commit to doing our part to end it.
