In this panel event, leaders will reflect on the state of ambition and implementation a year from the global stocktake. Discussion will cover the importance of taking forward the targets and signals from the first global stocktake, including the need for capacity building and enhanced international technology transfer. It will also explore how Mission 1.5 can enhance international cooperation. Positive momentum across these elements can inform the new nationally determined contributions that are due by February 10, 2025.
Join us as we explore:
- Are we prepared for ambitious new nationally determined contributions that take into consideration the outcomes from the first global stocktake?
- How can enhanced international technology transfer increase ambition and support nationally determined contributions?
- How can Mission 1.5 catalyze enhanced international cooperation, particularly through an international cooperation ecosystem under the Troika’s leadership through 2025 and beyond?
