The Center for Climate and Energy Solutions welcomes and appreciates the generous support of charitable foundations, governments, individuals, and businesses, including members of the Business Environmental Leadership Council (BELC). As a fully independent organization, C2ES is solely responsible for its positions, programs and publications, and abides by the following principles:
We ensure funding is mission-driven
Our mission is to secure a safe and stable climate by accelerating the global transition to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and a thriving, just, and resilient economy. We do not accept funding that conflicts with or diverts us from our mission.
We maintain our independence
C2ES is widely recognized in the United States and abroad as a credible, independent force for pragmatic climate action. We maintain full editorial control of our reports, briefs, blogs, webinars, and policy recommendations.
