How can the public, private and NGO sectors join together to help individuals and communities become energy savvy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions? The presentation will draw lessons from the Make an Impact partnership between the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES) and leading companies to explore answers to this question. Through the use of innovative online tools and on-the-ground engagement, the Make an Impact program has helped corporate America to engage more than 300,000 people and produce commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by over 67 million pounds of carbon dioxide. Make an Impact’s corporate partners include Entergy, Bank of America, and Alcoa.
